If there is one thing you've always been it's strong-minded and I've loved that about you since we were kiddies. But the reason I bring it up is because they had a bunch of juice recipes and smoothie recipes that you may enjoy (I know I did!) Here's the link (It's by Martha Stewart's Whole Living BTW):
http://www.wholeliving.com/152235/week-1-recipes/@center/152870/2012-whole-living-action-plan#/152203

Check it out. I didn't do any of the juice as I don't have a juicer, but I really loved the Antioxidant smoothie (tastes like gelato and it's only frozen berries and pom juice!) and the Carrot, Mango and Herb Smoothie (I used mint) There are also great salads! (You may have to check around he site a little. :) Best of luck my friend!Odettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10793858002476113533noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4071585038534793870.post-22290631690657259452012-07-08T07:58:52.988-07:002012-07-08T07:58:52.988-07:00I'm interested to hear more about your journey...I'm interested to hear more about your journey, so don't fall off the blogging wagon!

Do continue to have nuts, not only for protein but also for a source of "good" fats. You might also consider making your own homemade salad dressings, or going with the full-fat options, because your body does need a certain amount of dietary fat, and the sugar substitutes that are used in low fat, lite, sugar-free, etc... condiments are just as much of a saboteur and just as bad for you as processed foods. A little cheese here and there isn't going to throw you off your game, either. Same with a bit of grilled meat. You need the protein to keep your hunger in check and your blood sugar stable, same as you need the fiber from fruits and veggies.Jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17353149877164396151noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4071585038534793870.post-77205548288739729672012-07-08T06:15:15.495-07:002012-07-08T06:15:15.495-07:00I admire your commitment! I think she has more beggies in her juicing than I could probably handle, but it seems like the trick is to pair the right fruits with them. I will watch her FB for good tips and share with you if she posts anything that sounds yummy! I think you're wise to let yourself have some regular healthy food too though without guilt.

I don't juice, but I do allow myself all the fruit I can eat all summer long and I feel so satisfied as I munch!pogoniphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18446029045815991673noreply@blogger.com
